MVH worked closely with Beringia Community Planning and other consultants to develop a comprehensive Facilities Plan and a Community Benefits Plan for this community as they prioritize facilities and continue to work with outside development interests. Focus groups and individuals provided valuable detailed information on space needs and programming. The result was a detailed architectural program and conceptual site plan as well as preliminary site development costing for each of their projected facilities. Following the facilities plan, MVH worked with Beringia as well as Tsawwassen staff and consultants to develop a community benefits strategy, particularly beneficial in negotiating community benefits associated with outside real estate development interests.
