Stave Heights Neighbourhood Plan, City of Mission, BC (2020-2022)

MVH supported the City of Mission in the development of the Stave Heights Neighbourhood Plan in east Mission on Stave Lake Road. The process included separate developer and staff workshops to create development principles and concept directions. As a topographically challenged and environmentally sensitive site, this 30-hectare (75 acre) Neighbourhood Plan requires specific environmental management, site planning, and architectural design policies and guidelines to direct appropriate development in the right locations. A variety of compact housing forms supported by a network of trails and environmental corridors set the framework for a progressive community that is interconnected with the greater community. Local parks further enhance the community amenities package that responds to the terrain and sensitive natural areas.
