Shepard Industrial Area Structure Plan, Rocky View County and Calgary, Alberta (2020 – ongoing)

Shepard Industrial development is a 730-hectare (1800 acre) significant economic engine that strives to incorporate a CP major rail hub on the eastern edge of Calgary. The Area Structure Plan incorporates a variety of small to large parcels with in-built stormwater management and a network of trails as well as a commercial service area at the main entrance. The process is complicated by an annexation process by the City of Calgary but the result will be a significant economic and employment generator for the Region.
