MVH worked with Golder Associates to develop a long-term strategy to help Lake Country and their community partners coordinate efforts, articulate a vision for a sustainable future and make progress towards a set of goals for the environmental, cultural, social, and economic dimensions of a sustainable community. MVH focused on the design and planning of the urban centre just north of Kelowna. In 2015, the project was honoured by the Planning Institute of British Columbia with an Honourable Mention in the category of Excellence in Policy Planning for Small Town and Rural Areas.
